DIY Natural Laundry Powder

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup sodium carbonate (washing soda)
  • 1 cup sodium bicarbonate (baking soda)
  • ½ cup magnesium sulfate (Epsom salt)
  • ¼ cup sea salt
  • 25 drops essential oils (optional)

Method
 

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the sodium carbonate, sodium bicarbonate, Epsom salt, and sea salt until well combined.
  2. Add essential oils if using, mix well to distribute.
  3. Store in an airtight container. Use approximately 1-2 tablespoons per load.

Notes

Non-toxic, clean ingredients. ~120 loads per batch. Safe for standard and HE washing machines. Septic-safe. No fragrance, dyes, phosphates, or harsh chemicals.
