Sleepy-time Popsicle Recipe
I don’t know about you, but sleep can sometimes be a struggle around here! Some nights, my
kids don’t eat a full dinner, which can leave them restless overnight.
I started making these bedtime popsicles for peace of mind, knowing they’re getting extra
protein before bed. My kids have never said no to a popsicle, so I knew these would be a hit!
Why these pops work:
Tart cherry juice provides natural melatonin to support sleep.
Banana adds magnesium and potassium for muscle relaxation.
Greek yogurt offers protein and calcium to regulate sleep hormones.
Almond milk adds extra magnesium.
Collagen helps balance blood sugar for steady energy overnight. It also contains glycine, an
amino acid known to promote relaxation and improve sleep quality. Glycine helps regulate body
temperature during sleep, making it easier to fall and stay asleep. Not to mention it’s also great
for their gut health!
Together, these ingredients create a calming, nutrient-packed bedtime snack!
Sleepy-time Popsicles Ingredients: -2 cups tart cherry juice -1.5 bananas -1 cup full fat Greek
yogurt -1 cup almond milk (or oat milk) -2 tbsp collagen powder (I used lemon-lime)
Instructions: -Blend everything until smooth. -Pour into popsicle molds. -Freeze for 4-6 hours (or
overnight). -Enjoy before bedtime & before brushing teeth.
This recipe makes 12-14 popsicles.
