What You’ll Need
-
One 31:13 Studios Freeze-Dried Infusion Kit
-
Your choice of alcohol
(vodka, rum, gin, tequila, or whiskey all work well depending on the flavor) -
A refrigerator
-
Optional: soda water, juice, or tonic for mixing
3 Easy Steps
1. Prepare the Jar
Remove the moisture absorber from the jar. This is only used for storage and should not be included during infusion.
2. Add Alcohol
Fill the jar with alcohol of your choice, making sure the fruit is fully submerged.
3. Chill & Infuse
Seal the jar and refrigerate for a minimum of 30 minutes.
For a stronger flavor, you can let it infuse longer—up to 24 hours.
Once infused, strain out the fruit and your infusion is ready to use.
How to Serve It
-
Serve over a large ice cube
-
Sip as-is or with a splash of water
-
Garnish with an orange peel or cherry if desired
One kit makes approximately 16 ounces, or 8–16 pours, depending on preference.
The kit can be infused a second time for an additional 6–8 lighter pours.
Storage
-
Store infused alcohol in the refrigerator
-
Best enjoyed within 1 month

Drink Ideas Using Your Old Fashioned Infusion
Why this works: The added syrup rounds out the citrus and cherry notes without overpowering the infusion.
