  2. Read the back, not the front: Marketing on the front of the carton will say "All Natural" or "Farm Fresh." Those words mean nothing legally. Flip it over. Look for the word "Ingredients." If there's a list longer than one or two items, put it back.
  3. Check the Organic section: Often, organic brands are more likely to be single-ingredient, but not always! Even some organic brands sneak in carrageenan. Be a label detective.
