Pretzel Bites
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour (62g)
- 1/2 cup @fit.flour (62g)
- 1 cup 0% Greek yogurt (230g)
- 1 tsp baking powder
- Salt
- 1/4 cup baking soda
- Coating:
- 2 tbl zero calorie granular sweetener
- 2 tbl zero calorie brown sugar sweetener
- 1-2 tbl cinnamon (or more)
- 25g melted light butter or oil of choice
- Process:
- Pre bake over to 420°.
- Mix Greek yogurt, salt, baking powder and flour in a bowl until combined into a dough ball. Once
- formed, cut dough ball into 2 parts and lightly flour a surface. Roll out each individual ball into a long
- strand. Form each into pretzels balls. Set aside.
- Bring a pot of water to a simmer (not boil) and once simmering, add your 1/4 cup baking soda.
- Submerge two or so pretzel bites at a time into the water for about 15-30 seconds, not any longer!
- Use a slotted utensil or spaghetti spoon. Once simmered, add to a lined baking sheet. Once all
- pretzel balls are added, make an egg wash and coat each one. Bake for 420° for 15-18 minutes.
- Mine needed about 16 minutes.
- Once they come out, remove from paper, add melted butter, roll in the cinnamon sugar mixture and
- ENJOY!! They’re so sweet, soft and so so good!!!
